The sparkling intensity has decreased. What should I do?

Follow these few steps and contact your BE WTR technical hotline if the problem persists:

1. Check the water temperature If the water is cold, please follow step 2

If the water is not cold, try to switch OFF/ON on the box and then follow step 3

2. Check the gas bottle: Is the manometer in the red part?

If yes, please change your gas bottle. It means that is empty. How to change the CO2 bottle?

3. Check your gas pressure: it must be between 4 and 4.5 Bar.

To increase the pressure, use a screwdriver and turn the screw on the Co2 regulator front face.

Every six months, when we do our service, we leave an extra CO2 bottle. Remove the empty gas bottle and replace with the new one, following these 10 easy steps:

  1. Close the CO2 bottle valve.
  2. Release pressure regulator.
  3. Remove CO2 gas cylinder. Secure it upright.
  4. Secure the new cylinder upright with safety strap. Open protection cap.
  5. Open valve slowly to release CO2 gas and close again.
  6. Connect the pressure regulator. Make sure the sealing washer is fitted correctly.
  7. Tighten nut with spanner. Ensure all connections are tightened. Do not overtighten.
  8. Open valve. Check manometer. The pressure gauge volume
should stay stable when you close valve again.
  9. If necessary – check for leakage with solution of soapy water or an equivalent. Appearing bubbles
are a sign of leakage. If leakage problem can not be solved, contact the customer service. The correct pressure is 70/80 PSI or 4.5-5.5 bar.
  10. Open the CO2 bottle valve.

Your filter seems to have cloged earlier than expected. The quality of your local water can vary and impact the duration of your filter. The filter will then work harder to compensate for the potential pollutants in the water.
