POSITIVE IMPACT – ZERO PLASTIC, ZERO TRANSPORT!

Plastic pollution and the transportation of plastic bottles have long been a major concern for the environment. The production of plastic generates large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2), which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change.

According to recent studies, the production of plastic generates over 400 million tons of CO2 emissions each year. This is due to the fact that plastic is made from fossil fuels, which are non-renewable resources. When these resources are extracted, processed, and manufactured into plastic products, they release large amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere.

In addition, transporting plastic bottles from one place to another also generates a significant amount of CO2 emissions. However, there are ways that we can help to reduce these emissions and protect the planet.

Furthermore, the transportation of plastic bottles from one location to another also contributes to CO2 emissions. This is because the transportation of goods requires energy, and most of the energy used in transportation comes from fossil fuels, such as gasoline and diesel. The combustion of these fuels produces CO2 emissions, which contribute to climate change.

However, there are ways that we can reduce our impact on the environment and decrease CO2 emissions. One way is by reducing our use of plastic bottles. By using reusable water bottles instead of single-use plastic bottles, we can reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills and the ocean. This not only reduces the amount of plastic pollution, but also reduces the amount of CO2 emissions associated with the production and transportation of plastic bottles.

Another way we can reduce CO2 emissions is by supporting companies that prioritize sustainability and environmental responsibility. For example, companies that use recycled materials for their products and packaging or that prioritize renewable energy sources for their manufacturing facilities can significantly reduce their carbon footprint. By supporting these companies, we can encourage the use of sustainable practices and reduce the amount of CO2 emissions generated by plastic production and transportation.

UP TO MARCH 21ST, WE CONTRIBUTED TO SAVE MORE THAN 42,604 TONS OF CO2!

At this point, it’s important to highlight the positive impact of our own actions. According to our calculation, since our creation (until March 21st 2023), we have contributed to saved more than 42,604 tons of CO2 emissions! This is equivalent to the emissions generated by more than 136 million plastic bottles. By switching to BE WTR and reducing the need for transportation of bottled drinks, you also contributed to this positive impact, so be proud of being a game-changer!

By doing so, we can help to protect the planet and ensure a healthier and more sustainable future for ourselves and future generations.
