The new report from WWF alerts on the societal cost of plastic pollution that we will reach by 2040.
In 2040, plastic production should double, meaning that plastic amount entering the ocean should triple to reach 29 million tonnes and in terms of societal cost, could hit $7,1trn. At this point, we will not be able to follow with recycling systems
