Inside London’s Chef Lunches with BE WTR

London stands among the world’s great culinary capitals, and we are proud to be part of it. Through our partnership with The Staff Canteen, BE WTR joins “Lunches with Chefs”, a series of private events where leading chefs prepare seasonal dishes for their peers.

London’s Water Insights:

  • Around 70% of London’s water comes from the Thames and River Lea, carefully treated before reaching the tap.
  • London’s water is famously “hard”, full of calcium and magnesium, which affects both taste and texture.
  • Despite this, Londoners still consume around 175 bottles of water per person each year, a habit BE WTR aims to change by offering a sustainable alternative.
