On 15 and 16 March 2026, BE WTR was present at the Bocuse d’Or Europe, held as part of SIRHA Méditerranée. As one of the key stages of the Bocuse d’Or, this European selection brought together the continent’s most promising chefs, competing for a place in the Grand Final in January 2027.
For two days, the Bocuse d’Or Europe unfolded at an intense pace, where precision and consistency defined every moment. Alongside the candidates, a broader ecosystem was at work, ensuring the right conditions for performance, from preparation to tasting.
BE WTR was present from the very beginning of the Bocuse d’Or Europe, with its sealed bottled water served during the official opening, accompanying the first moments of exchange before the competition started.
As the contest began, BE WTR’s presence extended across the venue, supporting both operational needs and the overall experience throughout this major gastronomy competition.
Throughout the two days of the Bocuse d’Or, BE WTR systems were available across the venue, providing still and sparkling filtered water to teams, visitors and staff.
Competing teams were also equipped with BE WTR FLEX bottles, ensuring continuous hydration in a high-pressure environment where focus and endurance are essential.
On jury tables, BE WTR’s AQTiV+ carafes accompanied each tasting sequence, prepared and served by students from the Lycée Jean-Louis Passedat.
The Bocuse d’Or Europe 2026 jury was presided over by Gérald Passedat, three-Michelin-starred chef of Le Petit Nice, alongside leading figures in international gastronomy.
In this context, water plays a key role in the tasting process. It helps maintain a neutral palate, ensuring clarity, balance and consistency when evaluating each dish, an essential element in any fine dining competition.
At the BE WTR stand, visitors were invited to discover the brand’s systems and meet the team.
Tastings included pairings of AQTiV+ water with Valrhona chocolate, as well as a tea experience with
Chanoyu, offering new perspectives on water in gastronomy and tasting experiences.
At the end of the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2026, Team Denmark, represented by Christian Wellendorf, won the gold medal, followed by Norway (silver) and Italy (bronze).
BE WTR's founder, Mike Hecker, presented the Platter Prize to Team Sweden, recognising their performance during this European selection of the Bocuse d’Or.
